Aleksandra Nina Knežević

Aleksandra Nina Knežević was born in Sarajevo in 1973. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Montenegro, Department of Graphic Design. Her work is fresh and contemporary, and easily communicates internationally through playful typography and graphics. Her projects have been awarded worldwide and published in magazines specialized in design and art (Communication Arts, Luerzer's Archive, Print, Typo, Fontmagazine). From 2006 to 2010 she was the president of the Bosnian Association of Applied Artists and Designers (ULUPUBiH). She works as a freelance designer and illustrator for Buybook publishing house in Sarajevo. In 2014 she was awarded the Grand Prix prize Colegium Aristicum for her project Sarajevo Dingbats.
