Nova Iskra visiting Belgium, France and the region

Recently we had the pleasure of presenting Nova Iskra at the Fluid design forum in Cetinje. The theme of this year’s forum was Tourism for culture – Culture for tourism – Design for both. FLUID is conceived as a series of lectures and workshops held on various locations in Cetinje and Podgorica. The third FLUID design forum was held from April 24th to 29th. The manifestation was founded in 2013 with an aim to promote the active participation of local communities in the creation of cultural and visual identity of the city and improve the quality of visual identity of tourist promotion of Montenegro as well as to provide support to the establishment and affirmation of the design community in Montenegro, with a focus on young designers.
Marko Radenković, general manager of Nova Iskra, had the pleasure of taking part in Hubsters – Caring for Hubs mini-conference, presented by the Belgian organization Creative Wallonia on April 22nd in Wavre. The event brought together representatives of seven hubs from Finland, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium.
This May, we have the honor to participate, for the second time at the Design Week in Zagreb (#tdzg), the biggest event in Croatia dedicated to design, within which the seventh edition of AKS ME ANYTHING speed-dating consultations will be held, which is organized quarterly in Belgrade by Nova Iskra. held. #tdzg brings together the best designers, creatives, businesses and organizations engaged in design and the creative industries, as well as everyone interested in design. Founded through program participation through a range of organizations, companies, initiatives and individuals from Croatia and the world, which are contextually related to the creative industries.
As part of the accompanying program is AKS ME ANYTHING, our trademark event, which will bring together ten leading experts from Croatia and the region. Some of the consultants are Ana Tevšić, Vanja Blumenštajn, Damjan Geber and others. The seventh edition of AKS ME ANYTHING awaits you in Zagreb on May 14th as part of a new edition of #tdzg!
As part of this year’s European Lab Forum conference, under the motto Imagine the culture of tomorrow! which will be held from May 13th to 15th in Lyon, Relja Bobić program manager of Nova Iskra will take part in the debate: The Next CulturalDecade and present Nova Iskra in the framework of the Cultural Change Makers. Nova Iskra is also one of the participants in the workshop dedicated to the creation of a European network of creative incubators.
This year also European Lab brings together leading European and world experts in the field of creative industries, art production, independent music business and cultural policies. The program runs parallel with the music festival Nuit Sonores, which in recent years has grown into one of the leading events in France and beyond.
