Nova Iskra at Creative EST festival

Nova Iskra had the pleasure to be presented at the first edition of Creative EST festival, the first multidisciplinary festival in Romania that will be held October 12th – 18th in Bucharest.

Creative Fest is a collaborative and interactive festival that combines educational trainings and workshops with concerts and movie projections. Presenting the audience with creative brands from Eastern Europe (artisans, designers, artists, software developers ..), the festival runs throughout the week and will be held at more than ten locations across Bucharest. The main location of the festival is the factory Industria Bumbacului, while the follow-up programs will be held in numerous public places, universities and libraries.

The aim of the festival is to connect the dots and begin regional cooperations with the goal of positioning Eastern Europe as the upcoming global center of cultural and creative industries. The aim of the festival is to become the largest festival in Eastern Europe that deals with topics of creative industries, and should bring together more than 5.000 participants from all over Europe.

Nova Iskra has participated in the panel Contribution of creative industries in regional development of urban and rural areas on Monday, October 12th, when Marko Radenković (General Manager of Nova Iskra), presented our current work and projects.
