Resonate festival mini-residency at Nova Iskra

During the upcoming fourth edition of Resonate festival, which will be held from 13thto 18th of April at various locations in Belgrade, Nova Iskra collaborates once more with the leading European platform for networking, knowledge exchange and education that brings together artist and researchers with a focus on the position of technology in art and culture.

This year, Resonate expands its music and performance part of the program with Resonate Live, an extensive week-long program during which a number of world’s leading musicians and video artists will perform and give lectures and workshops as part of the Resonate music conference at Dom Omladine from April 13th to 15th.

For the last three years. Nova Iskra coordinates its programs and cooperates with Resonate. In addition to the lecture of Eduard Prats Molner – curator of the central Resonate conference who will present the development of Resonate festival until now and the most interesting guests in 2015 – this year Nova Iskra will also host three prominent authors from the fields of interaction design and new media. They will be working on a new project produced by Resonate. The artists Andrea CuiusEric Raynaud and David Penne will be at Nova Iskra from April 14th to 16th.

David Penney is a interaction designer based in London. He deals with both software and hardware solutions and has worked on a number of international projects and installations. He is currently using generative design in order to help the development, design and production of immersive light installations.
